Here is the scenario – you get a couple of guys together, one an iPhone fanboy and the other an Android fanatic. They shake hands, act friendly towards each other for 5 minutes… until one pulls out the iPhone 4 and the other pulls out his Droid X. They still act friendly, have good things to say about the other person’s gadget for another 5 minutes… then an argument slowly brews as either of them insist they are holding the best tech gadget one can find.

Finally, the argument stops, the conversation ceases, each move to a corner of the room, furthest from each other. Each continues to play with his own gadget… then, they look up from their gadgets and towards the other person’s direction. They smile and start thumbing away on their toys. Some time later, when their devices are finally out of juice, they walk towards each other, shake hands again, hug each other, then tell each other until next time they meet… Ugh, how?

Skies of Glory can do that, so can Raging Thunder 2 and Homerun Battle 3D, they are cross-platform multi-player games that brings the iPhone and an Android-based smartphone users together. Yes, bring them together, in a nice way, in a good way!

At least that is what some people think and hope. Read it here at PhoneArena.

Windows Phone 7 seems to be coming along well enough, and eventually their users can play with and get along with the other guys. Right?
