Samsung GALAXY Tab will debut in September

There’s the Apple iPad, the Dell Streak, and the Samsung GALAXY in the world of much-hyped tablet devices. This product segment has definitely opened up after the success of the iPad, and to a certain extent, the increasing popularity of the Android operating system. Today Samsung makes the GALAXY Tab official with a press release, stating its availability in mid-September in Europe, followed by Asia and the U.S. in the next months. The device sports impressive innards: Cortex A8 1.0GHz CPU, 3G HSPA, WiFi a/b/g, Bluetooth 3.0, front and back cameras, HD video capabilities, and wide playback support (DivX, Xvid, MPEG4, H.263, H.264, Flash, etc.). Already there’s talk about it being (yet another?) “iPad killer.” What do you think?
